These two unlisted Guyana FDCs were just observed on Ebay. The stamps have Salvation Army overprint. The original issue of the stamps was in July 1985. The overprinted stamps were issued in April 1995 and commemorated the national SA Centenary. This cachet has the Guyana RED Coat of arms – a standard Post office cover that has been seen also on other FDCs from the country. It is unlisted in the SA catalogue, and as it has not been seen before (to my knowledge), it is likely very rare.

SA 3.3 – RARE Swiss FDC
Finally! I’ve been looking for this rare Swiss Salvation Army FDC for a long time and it just turned up on Ebay. The SA stamp celebrated SA’s 75th anniversary in Switzerland in 1958. French postmark (catalogue value CHF 70). Globe cachet, extremely rare to see on Ebay or other online auction sites (I’ve actually not seen it before). Estimated value at least £40++
1937 – Netherlands Indies – World Jamboree cover
World Jamboree cover w/ combo Salvation Army & Scout stamps. The scout stamps were issued partly to sponsor the national scout organization to travel to the World Jamboree held in the Netherlands that year. The cover also has the characteristic Salvation Army postmark on it.
1981 – US – Blinded Veterans combos
Two Blinded Veterans FDCs issued 13 Aug 1981. These are prestamped covers with the 18c blinded veterans “stamp”, it’s imprinted on the cover. One of them also notes that 1981 was the International year of disabled persons. Very rare combo covers!!
1982 – Canada – Brockville FDC
This unlisted Canadian FDC was just observed on Ebay. It was issued by the Brockville Stamp club and must be extremely RARE, I have not seen it before!!! It was sold August 2020 in a lot for CA$ 220. NB! This is a reference cover – not in my collection (the picture is edited from another Brockville FDC as only the upper half of the Salvation Army cover was visible in the original listing).
