Salvation Army world centennial, issued 02.07.1965. This cachet is noted in the Mellone catalogue (nr. 29) as a “Mather’s Forgery” cachet. The cover was created by dealer Jerry P. Mather. He made counterfeit covers with phony First Day of Issue postmark, and his covers are really collector rarities now. The cachet has a black Salvation Army Shield and is noted as nr 4.14 in the SA FDC catalogue.
